“RE/LOADED (formerly known as Rachel Reloaded) is a slow-fashion, upcycled clothing brand founded by Rachel Gai, a self-taught designer with roots in South Sudan and the Midwest. The rebrand reflects an evolution toward intentional design, creative reuse, and deeper storytelling through fashion. Each RE/LOADED piece is thoughtfully constructed using reclaimed and repurposed materials—vintage textiles, deadstock fabrics, and pre-loved garments—transformed into one-of-one designs that honor both the past and the wearer. Quilting, patchwork, and visible mending are signature elements of the brand, celebrating craftsmanship, imperfection, and garments made slowly.
