Partnership with Nisaa African Family Services
One of our most impactful collaborations is with Nisaa African Family Services, a nonprofit supporting African immigrant and refugee survivors of gender-based violence. Together, we’ve launched a free sewing machine rental program—a transformative initiative designed to empower survivors by providing them with access to sewing equipment and skills training.
Through this program, individuals can develop practical skills that help them gain independence, start small businesses, or simply find a therapeutic creative outlet. By providing access to sewing machines and mentorship, we are opening doors to economic opportunities and self-sufficiency for women who need it most.
