The Jersey Archive is a collection by Aima Distgeer that explores fashion as a way of expressing identity, memory, and personal style. Inspired by a long-standing love for fashion and styling, the collection reflects her interest in giving clothing new meaning through design.

Focused on upcycling, the collection transforms existing football jerseys into new, one-of-a-kind garments. Each jersey comes with its own history, and rather than hiding that past, the collection builds upon it — giving familiar pieces a new purpose while keeping parts of their story alive. By reworking traditionally sporty silhouettes into more feminine forms, the collection explores the contrast between strength and softness, creating pieces that feel both nostalgic and contemporary.

For Aima, fashion is a way of turning ideas into something tangible. Through reconstruction and experimentation, The Jersey Archive creates pieces that feel personal, expressive, and uniquely their own.
